Details of Service

The Import License is required for any entity that intends to bring wireless devices or equipment—such as antennas, transceivers, and satellite phones—into India. It ensures that imported wireless equipment meets India’s technical and regulatory standards, preventing interference with domestic frequencies. The WPC (Wireless Planning and Coordination) wing of the DOT oversees this license to control radio frequency use, ensuring that imported equipment does not disrupt local networks or violate spectrum regulations.
